The factors influencing investment behavior among individual investors in Nepal's stock market
Authors

Abstract
The goal of this study is to comprehend
individual investors' stock market behavior in Nepal. A 384-respondent
structured questionnaire survey serves as the basis for the entire study. The
study found that an investor's level of involvement is significantly positively
correlated with the amount they invest, while their optimism is negatively correlated.
Greater professional expertise increases the likelihood of taking risks,
whereas larger investors typically have lower willingness to do so. Parallel to
this, more active, confident, upbeat, and risk-taking investors also tend to
trade the stock market more regularly. Therefore, an investor's investing
behavior is greatly influenced by their psychology and personal
characteristics.
